Clodoveo Betadur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Los Frutales's zone, Arturo Iliana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Fernanco came out of the goal and Arturo Iliana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arturo Iliana succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 15th playminute. In the 20th minute, Arturo Iliana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galga United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Galga United's Arnoldo Cedro got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jaime Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes, Paulo Gonzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galga United and the Los Frutales players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Paulo Gonzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Domenec kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Isaias Fernanco acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alfredo Rik. In the 33rd minute, Maximiliano Ticho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Cesar Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galga United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Casado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Arnoldo Cedro came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Galga United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Cedro couldn't finish the play. Arnoldo Cedro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Isaias Fernanco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 46 minutes into the match, Jaime Licerio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clodoveo Betadur. Galga United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Licerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Casado was the one to do the kick off. Arnoldo Cedro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Isaias Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Galga United's Cesar Casado in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Frutales's goalie prevented a goal. Cesar Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Iliana got in the 58th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Isaias Fernanco handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Tiburcio Jakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Los Frutales booed when Galga United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Tonio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Licerio in the 61st minute of play forced Galga United's goalkeeper Clodoveo Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Arnoldo Cedro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galga United's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Cedro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Fernanco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arturo Iliana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute Maximiliano Ticho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Casado in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaias Fernanco saved Los Frutales from getting behind. Isaias Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Cedro in the 70th minute of the match. If Cesar Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Galga United's Cesar Casado in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Frutales's goalie prevented a goal. Arnoldo Cedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Fernanco having to interfere. The supporters of Galga United booed when Los Frutales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Ermano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galga United were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Los Frutales's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cesar Casado took the corner. Maximiliano Ticho hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Jaime Licerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Cesar Casado sped through Los Frutales's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isaias Fernanco. Cesar Casado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90thth minute of the game Cesar Casado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Frutales's Isaias Fernanco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Casado in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaias Fernanco saved Los Frutales from getting behind.
