In the 20th match minute, Yeso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Opilano to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Zeledon Urtun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Urtun couldn't finish the play. After 96 played minutes, Yeso's Hipolito Mitxel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clodoveo Betadur came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yeso reached it. When the referee blew the final whistle, Yeso could leave the field as winners, despite Galga United having more of the ball for most of the match.
