A wasted opportunity for Sida Futbol Club. After a rather tough play, Moores's Severo Perutxo got a free kick in the 6th minute. Aquiles Goiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Gonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Goiz in the 10th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Mergildo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Gonzo saved Moores from getting behind. Mario Gonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Mergildo in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Moores defense, Aquiles Goiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Gonzo. The Moores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Gonzo should have stopped the shot. Mario Gonzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Goiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Locaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Mergildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Gonzo having to interfere. Moores's Haroldo Gau got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximiliano Bermudez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Locaio in the 42nd minute of play. Haroldo Gau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Maximiliano Bermudez made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, Sida Futbol Club's Aquiles Goiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Gonzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Sida Futbol Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquiles Goiz made a kick off. When Severo Perutxo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Moores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Perutxo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Antonio Mergildo could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Mario Gonzo however easily saved by the left post. Maximiliano Bermudez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Gau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Goiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Mario Gonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucio Locaio hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Mario Gonzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Goiz's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Moores's Lucio Locaio got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Gau in the 88th minute of play forced Sida Futbol Club's goalkeeper Maximiliano Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Haroldo Gau came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Moores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Gau couldn't finish the play. The Sida Futbol Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sida Futbol Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
