Moises Erramun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Estevez in the 10th minute of the match. With a little luck, Vázques's Florentino Mel got control of the ball when Fernan Cheche tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicasio Mikelar during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Moises Erramun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliberto Bernabel's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Abel Estevez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliberto Bernabel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Godfredo Erramun fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Isotopes's protests and gave Godfredo Erramun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Godfredo Erramun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliberto Bernabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Erramun having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Isotopes's zone, Abel Estevez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Erramun came out of the goal and Abel Estevez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliberto Bernabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Moises Erramun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Feliberto Bernabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Estevez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulgencio Locaio charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fulgencio Locaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vázques booed when Isotopes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Locaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute of the match Alberto Serapio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moises Erramun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 47th minute Abel Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Fulgencio Locaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Isotopes's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Locaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florentino Mel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isotopes's Nicasio Mikelar pulled a muscle in his back after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 54 minutes into the game, Jonatan Rufo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vázques's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Isotopes the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vázques's Jonatan Rufo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Tiburcio Gizon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 56 played minutes Vázques got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Rufo. Isotopes's Fernan Cheche got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Isotopes booed when Vázques was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Rufo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Gizon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Fulgencio Locaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Alberto Serapio from long distance, 69 minutes into the match, got Moises Erramun's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Igor Belmiro hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Feliberto Bernabel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Moises Erramun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 77th minute, Abel Estevez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With splendid footwork Feliberto Bernabel arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-1 by the left pole in the game's 79th minute. Feliberto Bernabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Erramun having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliberto Bernabel got free with Moises Erramun in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abel Estevezs short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Moises Erramun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Feliberto Bernabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Vázques could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Isotopes throughout the match.
