Spectators: 6980 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 80) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aquiles Luzea took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Aquiles Luzea fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cornelio Larpe, passed just outside the right post. 12 minutes into the match, Progresso's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Frutos came free, but Jorge Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Angelino Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aquiles Luzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cornelio Larpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Progresso's Jorge Mino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Lehen in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Progresso's goalkeeper Jorge Mino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Mino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Lehen in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Saturnin in the 30th minute of play forced Progresso's goalkeeper Jorge Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, INDIGO CLUB's goalkeeper Cornelio Larpe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquiles Luzea. In the 40th minute, Aquiles Luzea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Progresso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 43 minutes into the match, INDIGO CLUB's Hernan Frutos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Mino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Aquiles Luzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Progresso's goalkeeper Jorge Mino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafino Sasoin. Progresso's Jorge Mino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Sasoin in the 57th minute of play. Jorge Mino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Frutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Aquiles Luzea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Progresso's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Luzea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Larpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pablo Quinto fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Progresso's protests and gave Pablo Quinto a yellow card for diving instead. Pablo Quinto hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. German Maxin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorge Mino. Progresso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pablo Quinto kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Progresso's zone, Hernan Frutos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Mino came out of the goal and Hernan Frutos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Serafino Sasoin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Mino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Progresso's Jorge Mino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Progresso from getting a goal against them. A collision led to INDIGO CLUB getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Edgard Gonza hit a great ball. Angelino Orlin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cornelio Larpe. INDIGO CLUB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Luzea in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Larpe saved INDIGO CLUB from getting behind. Salvador Ricart kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Aquiles Luzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Progresso manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing INDIGO CLUB to win.
