When Hernan Frutos came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the INDIGO CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Frutos couldn't finish the play. Hernan Frutos had several of the Racing Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Silvestre Garcia as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 20 played minutes INDIGO CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Sasoin. When Racing Club's Anselmo Machado in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye INDIGO CLUB's goalie prevented a goal. Cornelio Larpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Deunoro in the 26th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvestre Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernan Frutos to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Frutos in the 53rd minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Silvestre Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Anselmo Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vicente Bautista didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3-0 came in the 76th minute when Filomeno Saturnin all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Silvestre Garcia. Silvestre Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Frutos, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The supporters of Racing Club booed when INDIGO CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Maxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th match minute, INDIGO CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Saturnin to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. INDIGO CLUB had won after a very even match.
