Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Sayvion kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Machado in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Txordon saved Club Escalando Posiciones from getting behind. Francisco Gipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes in the game, Anselmo Machado fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Higinio Txordon having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Tomás Idacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Escalando Posiciones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Idacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute Tomás Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Txordon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Machado in the 27th minute of the match. Anselmo Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Sayvion came free, but Silvestre Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Txordon having to interfere. Francisco Sayvion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvestre Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Anselmo Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Esteban Cordeara took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Higinio Txordon to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Anselmo Machado made the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Garcia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cesar Batista. After 56 minutes of play, Club Escalando Posiciones's Tomás Idacio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvestre Garcia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernan Deunoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Higinio Txordon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Silvestre Garcia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Francisco Sayvion recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silvestre Garcia. Francisco Sayvion showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Higinio Txordon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Deunoro in the 88th minute of play. Fernan Deunoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Club Escalando Posiciones players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
