After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Aquiles Luzea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Progresso's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Luzea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Cugat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Joel Grabiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. Jorge Mino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Romeo Bittor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Cugat having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Progresso lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
