Spectators: 6665 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Bernabel couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute of the match Javier Lesardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florentino Mel skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Romang's zone, Feliberto Bernabel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Bertol came out of the goal and Feliberto Bernabel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Romang getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jairo Lop hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Vázques's Alberto Serapio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliberto Bernabel in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carolo Bertol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severino Vermudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 52 minutes into the match, Teodoro Gutxi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florentino Mel. Vázques's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodoro Gutxi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Romang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Confesor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute Severino Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
