In the 22nd minute of the match La Leona Enleonada got a corner. Tündra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Braulio Elequemedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led La Leona Enleonada's Braulio Elequemedo to fire away a dangerous shot which Erasmo Badal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Americo Mede took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Arnalt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Americo Mede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Arnalt in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to La Leona Enleonada getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Braulio Elequemedo hit a great ball. Igor Damario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Americo Mede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tündra's Erasmo Badal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Tündra from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, La Leona Enleonada's Jose Pietro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Badal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Americo Mede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Arnalt in the 42nd minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Pietro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of La Leona Enleonada booed when Tündra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Leizarraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesus Rosario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Badal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Americo Mede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Damario in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Unai in the 64th minute of play forced La Leona Enleonada's goalkeeper Americo Mede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Humberto Arnalt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tündra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 79th minute, Jesus Rosario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Badal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Pietro, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 86 minutes of play, La Leona Enleonada's Jose Pietro made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Badal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th match minute, Tündra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Leizarraga to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Braulio Elequemedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uriel Bembe made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jesus Rosario.
