An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Marino in the 20th minute of play forced Cabrera AFC's goalkeeper Emilio Refugio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Camilo Rosario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabrera AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmitas the free kick. A collision led to Cabrera AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Camilo Rosario hit a great ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Domingos Egoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Egoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cabrera AFC's Emilio Refugio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Cabrera AFC from getting a goal against them. Palmitas's Domingos Egoi got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Eneas struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Tiburcio Hunfredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabrera AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Cabrera AFC's zone, Leonel Marino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Refugio came out of the goal and Leonel Marino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Eneas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61stth minute of the game Leonel Marino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabrera AFC's Emilio Refugio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonel Marino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Refugio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Emilio Refugio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Pitin in the 65th minute of the match. Jesus Urtsin hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Leonel Marino struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Refugio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonel Marino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Emilio Refugio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palmitas's Teobaldo Gorosti got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedicto Evarado charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedicto Evarado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute of the match Amancio Pere shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiburcio Hunfredo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Filomeno Elixio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabrera AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Palmitas's Filomeno Elixio got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Benedicto Evarado kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
