In the 24thth minute of the game Delmiro Pereyra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polinezio's Rodolfo Valentine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elpidio Jusepe's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elpidio Jusepe helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Polinezio getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Elpidio Jusepe hit a great ball. Romeo Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Firmin in the 37th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmiro Pereyra made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Polinezio got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Paul. Rodolfo Valentine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmiro Pereyra's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Ixidor in the 65th minute of play forced Polinezio's goalkeeper Rodolfo Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Artemio Ponciano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polinezio the free kick. After 67 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Ponciano. The Racing Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Polinezio had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
