After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Edgardo Derwin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeo Abreu. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeo Abreu should have stopped the shot. Delmiro Pereyra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Pereyra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Nicholas having to interfere. Victorino Mikeldi's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorino Mikeldi helped the player get up and apologised. Victorino Mikeldi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Pereyra in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Nicholas saved CAROLIN FC from getting behind. CAROLIN FC's Victorino Mikeldi got his second yellow card of the match in the 23rd minute. The referee ordered Victorino Mikeldi off the ground. In the 24th match minute, CAROLIN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Mikeldi to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Delmiro Pereyra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anselmo Nicholas was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Derwin made a kick off. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Ixidor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgardo Derwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Romeo Abreu made a huge save. Edgardo Derwin kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Racing Club's keeper Romeo Abreu was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After having played for 97 minutes, Edgardo Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAROLIN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Derwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CAROLIN FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Racing Club had controlled the match.
