Teo Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Leona Enleonada's Americo Mede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Maties in the 20th minute of play. 0-1 became the score in the 25th minute when Lucas Maties elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Evaristo Kismi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lucas Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Moises Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Uriel Bembe fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Leona Enleonada's protests and gave Uriel Bembe a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Leona Enleonada fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Maties to strike the kick off in the second half. If Raul Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Raul Benet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Leona Enleonada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Benet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Braulio Elequemedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moises Neto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in La Leona Enleonada's zone, Lucas Maties stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Mede came out of the goal and Lucas Maties tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Americo Mede showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Braulio Elequemedo struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Moises Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Leona Enleonada. Americo Mede showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. La Leona Enleonada were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
