Spectators: 7091 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 7) Racing Club's Delmiro Pereyra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Delmiro Pereyra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talleres de Escalada's Moises Neto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moises Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emiliano Ixidor went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 10 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Pereyra came free, but Moises Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes Talleres de Escalada got a freekick which was hit by Albino Raebert. Emiliano Ixidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Neto having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Talleres de Escalada's Albino Raebert ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romeo Abreu. Romeo Abreu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. If Evaristo Kismi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evaristo Kismi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Abreu having to interfere. Romeo Abreu came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Talleres de Escalada's Evaristo Kismi. But to his dismay, Evaristo Kismi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmiro Pereyra in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moises Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albino Raebert's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albino Raebert helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Talleres de Escalada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Raebert didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Maties in the 30th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Romeo Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Pereyra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Emiliano Ixidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Ixidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres de Escalada's zone, Lino Gutierrez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Neto came out of the goal and Lino Gutierrez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delmiro Pereyra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Moises Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Pereyra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Neto having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Racing Club's Romeo Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Raebert in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Teo Bernard made a precise shot to the right of Romeo Abreu. Racing Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 71st minute Emiliano Ixidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Bernard came free, but Romeo Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Delmiro Pereyra sped through Talleres de Escalada's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Moises Neto. Racing Club were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
