Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lázaro Prejun took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lino Diagur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Barea having to interfere. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mattaldi F.C's goalkeeper Pablo Barea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes in the game, Federico Dimo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pablo Barea having to interfere. A hard shot by Blas Sol from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Pablo Barea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 25 minutes, Maximo Mero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mattaldi F.C and the Pirquitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maximo Mero kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Lino Diagur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Barea having to interfere. German Iratxo came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Mattaldi F.C's Maximo Mero. But to his dismay, Maximo Mero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Maximo Mero scored 0-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of German Iratxo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Octavio Ceandro's late challenge caught a Pirquitas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Ceandro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mattaldi F.C's Octavio Ceandro got a free kick in the 47th minute. Federico Dimo struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Pablo Barea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirquitas. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lázaro Prejun in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg German Iratxo saved Pirquitas from getting behind. When Lázaro Prejun came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Mattaldi F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Prejun couldn't finish the play. Lázaro Prejun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. German Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Mattaldi F.C's Maximo Mero fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Maximo Mero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Federico Dimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Dante Tibalt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximo Mero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Lázaro Prejun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Diagur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mattaldi F.C's Lázaro Prejun got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Federigo during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mattaldi F.C booed when Pirquitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Federigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pirquitas's zone, Maximo Mero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Iratxo came out of the goal and Maximo Mero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximo Mero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 96 minutes, Lázaro Prejun made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Pirquitas's German Iratxo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mattaldi F.C played a much better game than Pirquitas and deserved their victory. The Pirquitas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
