Fidel Sein blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomiro Gora having to make a save. In the 16th match minute, Mudana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Porfirio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mudana getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Urbano Quico hit a great ball. Rosendo Telesforo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristo Mendez's late challenge caught a CCCP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristo Mendez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mudana's Cristo Mendez got a free kick in the 28th minute. Rosendo Telesforo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Santos Chap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosendo Telesforo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santos Chap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Olo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Mudana's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Olo came free, but Santos Chap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rosendo Telesforo got free with Santos Chap in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santos Chap came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by CCCP's David Domingues. But to his dismay, David Domingues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Olo made a kick off. Fidel Sein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Gora having to interfere. Santos Chap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Olo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Cristo Mendez hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Cristo Porfirio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rosendo Telesforo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Olo might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santos Chap. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Olo ran back to his position shaking his head. Santos Chap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Telesforo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 played minutes Mudana got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Mendez. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mudana's goalkeeper Santos Chap, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rosendo Telesforo in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Chap saved Mudana from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Fidel Sein's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomiro Gora was relentless in the 100th minute of the game. CCCP's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
