Virgilio Eneas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Rodas in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, estudiantes7's goalkeeper Virgilio Eneas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Hug. Prospero Petri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Ferrer having to interfere. Virgilio Eneas made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Maximino Hug sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Prospero Petri to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvano Llorienzo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Benjamin Ferrer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for estudiantes7. A collision led to Club Atlético River Plate getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Lucas Bonifaco hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Prospero Petri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Ferrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Ferrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Petri in the 95th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 97th minute when Silvano Llorienzo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
