Pablo Barea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Emanuel Joseph hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pablo Barea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Dalmau in the 11th minute of play. Ruben Fiz struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Pablo Barea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Restelli FC. 14 minutes into the game, Pablo Dalmau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pablo Barea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Restelli FC's zone, Lázaro Prejun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Gizon came out of the goal and Lázaro Prejun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruben Fiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Barea having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Restelli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Prejun came free, but Jeronimo Gizon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Ruben Fiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Barea. Mattaldi F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruben Fiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 34th minute, Ruben Fiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pablo Barea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Dalmau in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Mattaldi F.C booed when Restelli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes Restelli FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Austin. Vladimiro Escobar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Restelli FC's Jeronimo Gizon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Restelli FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Dalmau to make the kick off. If Ruben Fiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeronimo Gizon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Prejun, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Maximo Mero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mattaldi F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Mero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeronimo Gizon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domingos George hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Gizon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Prejun in the 64th minute of the match. Ruben Fiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Barea having to interfere. Ruben Fiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Pablo Barea made a huge save. Mattaldi F.C's Pablo Barea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Remir in the 82nd minute of play. When Maximo Mero came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Mattaldi F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Mero couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Octavio Ceandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Lázaro Prejun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeronimo Gizon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Restelli FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
