In the 6th minute, Guanaco FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hernan Luken fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 10th minute, Gasoducto's Ovidio Esquipula ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Florentino Ostadar. Florentino Ostadar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Julio Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Bonadona during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Guanaco FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Joaquin Bonadona hit a great ball. If Hernan Luken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes Guanaco FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Sotil. Godofredo Lohitzun scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernan Cloyo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ovidio Esquipula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernan Cloyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Pere, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ovidio Esquipula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Ostadar having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Enzo Arixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godofredo Lohitzun to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernan Cloyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Lohitzun, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Guanaco FC's Florentino Ostadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Luken in the 53rd minute of play. Guanaco FC's Godofredo Lohitzun got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gasoducto's Fernan Cloyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Lohitzun in the 61st minute of play. Fernan Cloyo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Teobaldo Pere sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Guanaco FC defense, Ovidio Esquipula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florentino Ostadar. The Guanaco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florentino Ostadar should have stopped the shot. Gasoducto's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
