Lorenzo Telo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sirious FC. Ulises Mikelar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Lorenzo Telo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Sanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Bermudo having to interfere. Inocencio Bermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Sanson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Inocencio Bermudo made a huge save. Gogo Ponce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Churro FC's Lorenzo Telo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Mikelar in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, Sirious FC's Inocencio Bermudo got control of the ball when Hector Sanson tried to sneak it across the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulises Mikelar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Mikelar in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenzo Telo saved Churro FC from getting behind. If Gogo Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Ulises Mikelar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Telo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sirious FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
