After a defensive mix-up in Milo's zone, Sergio Aragones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Sandaili came out of the goal and Sergio Aragones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Milo's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Aragones came free, but Jacinto Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Godofredo Oliveiro came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the A.A Ramos Mejía fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Oliveiro couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Sergio Aragones left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.A Ramos Mejía fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Txindoki in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Gabrio saved A.A Ramos Mejía from getting behind. The supporters of A.A Ramos Mejía booed when Milo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Pirmin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94thth minute of the game Sergio Aragones who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milo's Jacinto Sandaili was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
