The Florentino Ostadar was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Altautina FC booed when Guanaco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Tancredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Florentino Ostadar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joel Tancredo came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Altautina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Tancredo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 20 minutes, Godofredo Lohitzun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guanaco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Lohitzun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florentino Ostadar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Asur's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Guanaco FC's Enzo Arixo got a free kick in the 34th minute. Altautina FC's Urbano Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Lohitzun in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Altautina FC's zone, Teobaldo Pere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Iigo came out of the goal and Teobaldo Pere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Eriberto Aguirre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cesar Xabel fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altautina FC's protests and gave Cesar Xabel a yellow card for diving instead. Cesar Xabel hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Godofredo Lohitzun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guanaco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Lohitzun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbano Iigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godofredo Lohitzun to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Donato Gomez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Florentino Ostadar. The goal made the score 1-1. If Eriberto Aguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Asur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Tancredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Ostadar having to interfere. Cecilio Lawrence took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Urbano Iigo. Altautina FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Altautina FC's Manuel Asur was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Godofredo Lohitzun struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Urbano Iigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guanaco FC. In the 85th minute Teobaldo Pere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godofredo Lohitzun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Although Guanaco FC had been in control for most of the match, Altautina FC still came away with the win.
