Spectators: 7172 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sergio Aragones started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Nestor Arnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Indartsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Tolino kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Sergio Aragones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergio Aragones in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvano Indartsu saved Independiente Boedense from getting behind. Eulalio Ritchie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute of the match, Godofredo Oliveiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Silvano Indartsu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Independiente Boedense's Silvano Indartsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Independiente Boedense from getting a goal against them. Godofredo Oliveiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Indartsu having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Sergio Aragones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.A Ramos Mejía's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente Boedense the free kick. Eulalio Ritchie kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Carlos Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Bonadona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godofredo Oliveiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Eulalio Ritchie made the kick off in the second half. Carlos Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Ritchie in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Independiente Boedense's Eulalio Ritchie got a free kick in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godofredo Oliveiro in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvano Indartsu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Fernan Bonadona came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Independiente Boedense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernan Bonadona couldn't finish the play. Sergio Aragones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Godofredo Oliveiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.A Ramos Mejía's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Oliveiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Indartsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergio Aragones might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvano Indartsu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Aragones ran back to his position shaking his head. Silvano Indartsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Oliveiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd match minute, Independiente Boedense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Jorrin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Independiente Boedense booed when A.A Ramos Mejía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Aragones didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dante Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Prudencio Louis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Aragones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Indartsu having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
