When Godofredo Oliveiro came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the A.A Ramos Mejía fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Oliveiro couldn't finish the play. After 23 played minutes Altautina FC got a freekick which was hit by Roman Polentzi. Horacio Gilesindo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 28 minutes, Horacio Gilesindo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altautina FC and the A.A Ramos Mejía players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Altautina FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Horacio Gilesindo hit a great ball. Manuel Asur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Gilesindo got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Altautina FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Horacio Gilesindo hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes A.A Ramos Mejía got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Abancens. Sergio Aragones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Iigo having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergio Aragones made a kick off. A collision led to Altautina FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Isaias Nerio hit a great ball. Sergio Aragones struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Urbano Iigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.A Ramos Mejía. In the 54th minute, Donato Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 55 minutes, Godofredo Oliveiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.A Ramos Mejía's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Oliveiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 minutes, Isaias Nerio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altautina FC and the A.A Ramos Mejía players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, one of Altautina FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Altautina FC. Urbano Iigo made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Godofredo Oliveiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Joel Tancredo made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Gabrio. A.A Ramos Mejía's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Manuel Asur came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Altautina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Asur couldn't finish the play. Joel Tancredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 78 minutes into the game, Altautina FC's Manuel Asur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Gabrio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. A collision led to Altautina FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Roman Polentzi hit a great ball. Carlos Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Asur in the 85th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Altautina FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Tancredo. 90 minutes into the match, Manuel Asur notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of A.A Ramos Mejía's Carlos Gabrio. Carlos Gabrio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sergio Aragones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Iigo having to interfere. Donato Gomez kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Altautina FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
