Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Haroldo Piorno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ernesto Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Madaleno having to interfere. If Silvestre Froila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fermin Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Bertran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Silvestre Froila made a precise shot to the right of Haroldo Piorno. El Dique Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Silvestre Froila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Piorno having to interfere. A hard shot 30 in the game by Ernesto Cresconio from a close distance when the talented Vladimiro Madaleno managed to make a qualified save. Santo FC's players were relieved. In the 33rd minute Moises Bertran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Madaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Fermin Sein ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haroldo Piorno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, Santo FC's Gabriel Emesto got a free kick in the 41st minute. After the first half Santo FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Bertran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Bertran in the 51st minute of play forced Santo FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Madaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. One of El Dique Futbol Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Santo FC:s goal. In the 65th minute Moises Bertran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Madaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Madaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Bertran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fermin Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Emesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Piorno having to interfere. Fermin Sein did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Haroldo Piorno 74 minutes into the match. Fermin Sein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Haroldo Piorno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Bertran in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Madaleno saved Santo FC from getting behind. Moises Bertran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Vladimiro Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Ernesto Cresconio made a precise shot to the right of Vladimiro Madaleno. Santo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Ceferino Chap hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Horacio Innocenzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
