In the 4th minute, Silvestre Froila made a precise shot to the right of Elpidio Soter. La Banda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Silvestre Froila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elpidio Soter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Froila in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in La Banda FC's zone, Fermin Sein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Soter came out of the goal and Fermin Sein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elpidio Soter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Froila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santo FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Madaleno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Elpidio Millan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Silvestre Froila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elpidio Soter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Sein went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gabriel Emesto kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of La Banda FC booed when Santo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Emesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elpidio Soter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Froila in the 44th minute of play. Elpidio Soter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Sein in the 46th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Santo FC's Ciro Karmel got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Santo FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Blas Garaile kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Fermin Sein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to La Banda FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Blas Garaile hit a great ball. Vladimiro Madaleno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Serapio's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Vladimiro Madaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Kinsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Silvestre Froila came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Santo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Froila couldn't finish the play. Elpidio Soter made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Fermin Sein sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for La Banda FC. Lázaro Faron stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vladimiro Madaleno. 1-2. If Alvaro Serapio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Madaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Kinsen in the 81st minute of the match. Fermin Sein blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elpidio Soter having to make a save. Delmar Kinsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Sein's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elpidio Soter firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 89th minute, Fermin Sein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fermin Sein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Lázaro Faron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimiro Madaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Kinsen in the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over Santo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Banda FC throughout the match.
