The supporters of Chilecito booed when Santo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Txatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Fermin Sein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Bittor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Vladimiro Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernan Estevon to make the kick off. Israel Bittor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Froila, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Chilecito's Iker Rodriguez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Madaleno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fermin Sein struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Israel Bittor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santo FC. If Fermin Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Iker Rodriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chilecito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iker Rodriguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernan Estevon took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimiro Madaleno. Vladimiro Madaleno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. With a little luck, Chilecito's Israel Bittor got control of the ball when Fermin Sein tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvestre Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Israel Bittor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvestre Oton hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Chilecito's Israel Bittor got control of the ball when Fermin Sein tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute Fernan Estevon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Madaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Chilecito supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Santo FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Santo FC.
