Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicanor Astigar started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Los Buitres got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Garikoitz. With his leg Elpidio Soter managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Los Buitres's Nicanor Astigar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Fabian Pio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Buitres's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Pio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Soter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Los Buitres booed when La Banda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th match minute, La Banda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Kinsen to maneuver through the defense. Delmar Kinsen hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes La Banda FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Kinsen. A hard shot 32 in the game by Nicanor Astigar from a close distance when the talented Elpidio Soter managed to make a qualified save. La Banda FC's players were relieved. Nicanor Astigar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Elpidio Soter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Delmar Kinsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicanor Astigar in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Soter saved La Banda FC from getting behind. In the 40th match minute, Los Buitres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Garikoitz to maneuver through the defense. Elpidio Soter was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Nicanor Astigar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicanor Astigar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Fabian Pio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Elpidio Soter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Buitres's Desiderio Cai was substituted for Octavio Garikoitz. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Serapio was the one to do the kick off. Silvano Chano hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Nicanor Astigar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Soter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Astigar in the 71st minute of play. Alvaro Frutos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Serapio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Ramiro Piorno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elpidio Soter. La Banda FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Piorno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Elpidio Soter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Astigar, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Fabian Pio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ramiro Piorno took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elpidio Soter. Elpidio Soter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 98 minutes into the game, Los Buitres's Nicanor Astigar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Soter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.
