Gavino Libertad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Süruri Çeliktaş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fermin Sein's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Silvestre Froila's late challenge caught a Bidon de Branco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Poncio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute Silvestre Froila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Süruri Çeliktaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Süruri Çeliktaş showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tomás Atarratze lost his temper 81 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Bidon de Branco:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Santo FC:s goal. After having played for 99 minutes, Fermin Sein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Sein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santo FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
