Spectators: 7290 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Silvestre Froila made the kick off and thus started the match. Gabriel Emesto hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Gabriel Emesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Karmel kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Los Buitres's Nicanor Astigar in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Vladimiro Madaleno came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Buitres's Ramiro Piorno. But to his dismay, Ramiro Piorno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Nicanor Astigar notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Santo FC's Vladimiro Madaleno. Vladimiro Madaleno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Froila in the 24th minute of play forced Los Buitres's goalkeeper Alvaro Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Astigar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramiro Piorno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Madaleno having to interfere. Fermin Sein charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Sein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Octavio Garikoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicanor Astigar took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimiro Madaleno. Vladimiro Madaleno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Vladimiro Madaleno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicanor Astigar's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes Santo FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Txatxu. After 45 minutes, Silvestre Froila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santo FC and the Los Buitres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Santo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Froila to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Frutos made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Fermin Sein sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicanor Astigar made a kick off. After some careless play in the Santo FC defense, Nicanor Astigar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimiro Madaleno. The Santo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiro Madaleno should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes in the game, Nicanor Astigar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vladimiro Madaleno having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Fermin Sein cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Alvaro Frutos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horacio Innocenzio hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ramiro Piorno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Froila in the 72nd minute of play forced Los Buitres's goalkeeper Alvaro Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicanor Astigar got free with Vladimiro Madaleno in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute, Ramiro Piorno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Nicanor Astigar made a precise shot to the right of Vladimiro Madaleno. Santo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Nicanor Astigar took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Vladimiro Madaleno to make any attempt to save it. 89 minutes into the game, Silvestre Froila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Alvaro Frutos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ramiro Piorno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santo FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Madaleno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Los Buitres's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
