After a defensive mix-up in Cogollando FC's zone, Octavio Garikoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Lucila came out of the goal and Octavio Garikoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes in the game Isaac Bingen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rogelio Urtzi. Fabian Pio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Lucila having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Los Buitres got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Astigar. With a little luck, Cogollando FC's Tobias Lucila got control of the ball when Nicanor Astigar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Americo Paio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cogollando FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Paio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Frutos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Octavio Garikoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Americo Paio made the kick off in the second half. Leon Su struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Alvaro Frutos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cogollando FC. 64 minutes into the game, Los Buitres's Ramiro Piorno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tobias Lucila made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Julio Ondino took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Lucila. Tobias Lucila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicanor Astigar in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Lucila saved Cogollando FC from getting behind. Tobias Lucila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Ondino, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Damaso Lohitzun made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cogollando FC's Isaac Bingen. Tobias Lucila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Astigar went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Americo Paio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Lucila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Astigar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Buitres's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
