After 47 played minutes Rulo FC got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Pietro. After the first half Cordoba FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Higinio Pietro was the one to do the kick off. Higinio Pietro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Fernan Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Cordoba FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Atarrabi. Higinio Pietro struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Fernan Gomez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rulo FC. The audience was convinced that Silvio Isaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernan Gomez was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Tammo Zippel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Blas Cordarryl, 0-2. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cordoba FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
