In the 13th minute, Bruno Sugar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Pietro in the 16th minute of play forced los saparrastrosos's goalkeeper Delmiro Ilazki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Ilazki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Michael in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, los saparrastrosos's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Isaio came free, but Delmiro Ilazki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in los saparrastrosos's zone, Evelio Tanio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Cordarryl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Higinio Pietro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rulo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Pietro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmiro Ilazki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Rulo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. los saparrastrosos were winning 0-1.

Eusebio Frasquito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Blas Cordarryl. Rulo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to los saparrastrosos getting a freekick after 79 minutes play.
