In the 23rd match minute, Rulo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Bazkoare to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Rulo FC's zone, Luciano Illart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Cordarryl came out of the goal and Luciano Illart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulino Michael kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernando Cayo. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Paulino Michael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fernando Cayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Froilan Valentine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rulo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Valentine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Paulino Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Viviano sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Blas Cordarryl threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Eustaquio Viviano this time. With an all-out effort, Longchamps's Blas Cordarryl threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pascual Ubarna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Froilan Valentine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Cayo having to interfere. When Froilan Valentine came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Rulo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Froilan Valentine couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Longchamps booed when Rulo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Isusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blas Cordarryl was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eustaquio Viviano. 80 minutes into the match, Higinio Pietro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Cayo. Longchamps's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higinio Pietro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Paulino Michael struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Fernando Cayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rulo FC. 89 minutes into the game, Rulo FC's Silvio Isaio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Cayo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. If Froilan Valentine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Efrain Paez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Cayo. Longchamps's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Paez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. When Rulo FC's Paulino Michael in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Longchamps's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Rulo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
