The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lisandro Presebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Berriotxoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Berriotxoa in the 7th minute of play forced Obanta's goalkeeper Lisandro Presebal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisandro Presebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Clodio in the 10th minute of play. Lisandro Presebal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Clodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Obanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Gamus to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Obanta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Caballito FC:s goal. Obanta's Evelio Gamus managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aquiles Lorien in the 28 minute of the game. Lisandro Presebal came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Caballito FC's Sixto Eliazar. But to his dismay, Sixto Eliazar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 33rd minute, Obanta's Evelio Gamus seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Evelio Gamus the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Obanta protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Evelio Gamus had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The penalty shot was made by Aquilino Clodio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Obanta's Lisandro Presebal. 0-3. Lisandro Presebal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Berriotxoa in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Sixto Eliazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Presebal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisandro Presebal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Clodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Hermengildo Ofelio kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernabe Berriotxoa to strike the kick off in the second half. Lisandro Presebal made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Bernabe Berriotxoa sent off a good shot on target. Bernabe Berriotxoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Lisandro Presebal made a huge save. In the 56th play minute Bernabe Berriotxoa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lisandro Presebal. 0-4. Obanta's Baldomero Norino managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vladimiro Casado in the 61 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernabe Berriotxoa in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Presebal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Caballito FC booed when Obanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Norino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eustaquio Bihar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sixto Eliazar came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Caballito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Eliazar couldn't finish the play. When Eustaquio Bihar fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Obanta's protests and gave Eustaquio Bihar a yellow card for diving instead. Eustaquio Bihar hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the game, Bernabe Berriotxoa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lisandro Presebal. Bernabe Berriotxoa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Caballito FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
