Celedonio Ospetsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Wilfredo Jaunzuria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Wilfredo Jaunzuria managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Cartel de Medellín's Felipe Cordario fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cartel de Medellín's goalkeeper Edgard Quinten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luciano Gizon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Jaunzuria having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, F.C. New City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Peyo to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Mauricio Bartoli in the 19th minute really tested Wilfredo Jaunzuria's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 21 minutes into the game, Celedonio Ospetsu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilfredo Jaunzuria. Celedonio Ospetsu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Felipe Cordario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Wilfredo Jaunzuria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Celedonio Ospetsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Jaunzuria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. New City's zone, Celedonio Ospetsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Jaunzuria came out of the goal and Celedonio Ospetsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipe Cordario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Jaunzuria having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Celedonio Ospetsu rounded F.C. New City's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54thth minute of the game Celedonio Ospetsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. New City's Wilfredo Jaunzuria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute, F.C. New City's Abelardo Bazil dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Felipe Cordario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico Hanni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Edgard Quinten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Hanni who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Edgard Quinten when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Celedonio Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Ireno hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Federico Hanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cartel de Medellín's Felipe Cordario in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. New City's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celedonio Ospetsu in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfredo Jaunzuria saved F.C. New City from getting behind. There was no doubt that Cartel de Medellín were the better team. Cartel de Medellín's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
