Spectators: 7372 (Terracing: 5530, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) Iguassu's Haroldo Ponce started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Churqui's Domingos Semeno got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When Feliciano Grabiel came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Iguassu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Grabiel couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute Americo Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ieltxu Casero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Fermin Inguma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Ponce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Haroldo Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iguassu's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Ponce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Claris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ieltxu Casero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Osmundo in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Serafin Gauargi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Iguassu booed when Churqui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Jokin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Haroldo Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Ponce in the 29th minute of play forced Churqui's goalkeeper Abelardo Claris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Iguassu's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Cordeiro came free, but Ieltxu Casero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Cordeiro in the 33rd minute of play forced Iguassu's goalkeeper Ieltxu Casero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Ponce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Abelardo Claris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Domingos Semeno fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Churqui's protests and gave Domingos Semeno a yellow card for diving instead. If Serafin Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelardo Claris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Ponce in the 42nd minute of play. Abelardo Claris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Abelardo Claris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliciano Grabiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Americo Cordeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Haroldo Ponce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Claris was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Camilo Jokin charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Jokin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abelardo Claris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Gauargi in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Feliciano Grabiel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Iguassu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 85th minute, Feliciano Grabiel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Iguassu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Eusebio Rubio hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
