In the 7th minute Leon Eguzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Sagrario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Montrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Frederik. Nemesio Etxatxu hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, C.A.S.L.A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Herauso came free, but Romulo Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Poz in the 29th minute of play forced C.A.S.L.A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Romulo Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorino Herauso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leon Eguzki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo's Victorino Herauso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romulo Godoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Victorino Herauso in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Romulo Godoy, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 60th minute Teo Poz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to C.A.S.L.A.F.C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Albano Franco hit a great ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Gilberto Maureo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo's Javier Sagrario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes in the game, Teo Poz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Romulo Godoy having to interfere. Teo Poz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Alfonso Montrell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Sagrario was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 87th minute, Nemesio Etxatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, C.A.S.L.A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Teo Poz came free, but Romulo Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A.S.L.A.F.C.'s Leon Eguzki got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 minutes, Arturo Hanni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Lorenzo and the C.A.S.L.A.F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of C.A.S.L.A.F.C. booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Hanni didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the San Lorenzo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C.A.S.L.A.F.C..
