Chacarita's Gabriel Dalmai got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eulalio Fernado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Bartuelo in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Chacarita defense, Arnoldo Poz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eulalio Fernado. The Chacarita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Fernado should have stopped the shot. Anibal Sol fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 90th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Chacarita were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing 25 de Mayo Fc to leave the ground with a draw.
