Haroldo Ponce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Gomesano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Feliciano Grabiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iguassu's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Grabiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But to his dismay, Feliciano Grabiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo Ponce to strike the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorino Gomesano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Haroldo Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Gomesano having to interfere. When Serafin Gauargi came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Iguassu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Gauargi couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Iguassu's Haroldo Ponce slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victorino Gomesano. That made the score 0-2 after 72 minutes of play. In the 80th minute, Isaias Jeraldo made a precise shot to the right of Ieltxu Casero. Iguassu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Anacleto Bermudo lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Iguassu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Livingstone FC:s goal. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Real Livingstone FC. Teo Charro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ieltxu Casero. 2-3. Ieltxu Casero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Jeraldo went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Iguassu's Feliciano Grabiel got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Feliciano Grabiel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victorino Gomesano. That made the score 3-4 in the 100 minute of play. Iguassu played a much better game than Real Livingstone FC and deserved their victory. The Real Livingstone FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
