Rolando Ereinotz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 4th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 7th minute Lorenzo Costante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Oliverios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Gaizkine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Agronomía FC's zone, Saturnino Juvenal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Oliverios came out of the goal and Saturnino Juvenal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavio Mercurio's late challenge caught a Agronomía FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Mercurio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Los Pampeanos's Octavio Mercurio got a free kick in the 18th minute. Lino Gaizkine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Octavio Mercurio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 30 minutes had been played. Octavio Mercurio kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Rolando Ereinotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd match minute, Agronomía FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Leobardo to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Cordearo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Amador Oliverios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Saturnino Juvenal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lorenzo Costante struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Amador Oliverios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Pampeanos. Saturnino Juvenal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Amador Oliverios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Agronomía FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Juvenal came free, but Amador Oliverios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Gaizkine in the 45th minute of play forced Los Pampeanos's goalkeeper Melquiades Oliviero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saturnino Juvenal to make the kick off. Saturnino Juvenal hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Melquiades Oliviero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Gaizkine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Juvenal got free with Amador Oliverios in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Gaizkine in the 56th minute of play forced Los Pampeanos's goalkeeper Melquiades Oliviero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saturnino Juvenal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Oliverios made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Saturnino Juvenal sent off a good shot on target. From close distance Saturnino Juvenal pressed in the 0-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 72 minutes into the game. After 75 played minutes Los Pampeanos got a freekick which was hit by Siro Cordarell. Melquiades Oliviero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Ereinotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Siro Cordarell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Amador Oliverios was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amador Oliverios made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Saturnino Juvenal sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 92 minutes, Saturnino Juvenal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Pampeanos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Juvenal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th match minute, Agronomía FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Machado to maneuver through the defense. Gogo Bembe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Los Pampeanos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Agronomía FC throughout the match.
