Delmar Bortzaioriz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 24 minutes into the game, Silvano Txartiko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Instituto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TheWay FC the free kick. In the 78th minute, Matúš Marcinko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TheWay FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Anibal Montay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Delmar Bortzaioriz made a huge save. TheWay FC's Anibal Montay got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When TheWay FC's Matúš Marcinko in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmar Bortzaioriz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anibal Montay scored 0-9 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmar Bortzaioriz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. TheWay FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
