Geronimo Fero succeeded in the game's 4th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Volcán's Augusto Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Chinto in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Malvinas FC's Benigno Chano got a free kick in the 14th minute. With a little luck, Volcán's Augusto Tajo got control of the ball when Geronimo Fero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Alfredo Caradaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malvinas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Caradaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Tajo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregorio Rico during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gregorio Rico hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Volcán's Augusto Tajo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Volcán from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Argina in the 45th minute of play forced Volcán's goalkeeper Augusto Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Gregorio Rico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carolo Argina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Volcán's goalkeeper Augusto Tajo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Malvinas FC's Alfredo Caradaro got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Alfredo Caradaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Tajo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The Malvinas FC fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Malvinas FC's Carolo Argina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gregorio Rico's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Samuel Ramone firmly grabbed it by the left post. Augusto Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Argina, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Carolo Argina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Tajo having to make a save. Augusto Tajo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carolo Argina's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Malvinas FC booed when Volcán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geronimo Fero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Tajo having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Volcán's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Argina came free, but Augusto Tajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Tajo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carolo Argina's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Natalio Cruz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Samuel Ramone came out and tried to block the shot, but Natalio Cruz slotted it home off the left post making it 6-1 in the 92nd minute. Malvinas FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
