After having played for 14 minutes, Matúš Marcinko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TheWay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matúš Marcinko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 15 played minutes TheWay FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Lico. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matúš Marcinko in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Oliviero saved Los Pampeanos from getting behind. In the 21st minute, one of Los Pampeanos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Pampeanos. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for TheWay FC. Stephen King stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Melquiades Oliviero. 0-2. Lorenzo Costante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes Los Pampeanos got a freekick which was hit by Siro Cordarell. Stephen King struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Melquiades Oliviero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TheWay FC. If Lorenzo Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Matúš Marcinko made a precise shot to the right of Melquiades Oliviero. Los Pampeanos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Saturnino Juvenal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Leon Vitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Costante made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Anibal Montay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matúš Marcinko did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Melquiades Oliviero 58 minutes into the match. A collision led to Los Pampeanos getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Lorenzo Costante hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Abel Lico managed to get in a good position for a shot. TheWay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Lico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Oliviero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Los Pampeanos's goalkeeper Melquiades Oliviero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matúš Marcinko. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matúš Marcinko in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Oliviero saved Los Pampeanos from getting behind. Ruben Cordearo charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Cordearo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Melquiades Oliviero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matúš Marcinko's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. With a little luck, Los Pampeanos's Melquiades Oliviero got control of the ball when Matúš Marcinko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lorenzo Costante charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Costante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of TheWay FC booed when Los Pampeanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Costante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Oliviero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matúš Marcinko went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. If Matúš Marcinko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Oliviero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matúš Marcinko, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Anibal Montay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Los Pampeanos's goal looked a bit too open when Matúš Marcinko came free, but Melquiades Oliviero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over TheWay FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Los Pampeanos throughout the match.
