Amador Oliverios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Benvido in the 25th minute of the match. Pastor Benvido took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amador Oliverios. Amador Oliverios dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Amador Oliverios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Benvido in the 34th minute of the match. If Armando Hermelando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amador Oliverios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Alfonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Kentucky's goalkeeper Carlos Palos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolando Ereinotz.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lino Gaizkine made a kick off. Armando Hermelando who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Amador Oliverios when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Agronomía FC's Arturo Machado seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arturo Machado the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Agronomía FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arturo Machado had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 60th minute, one of Agronomía FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Agronomía FC. The supporters of Agronomía FC booed when Kentucky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Alfonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Agronomía FC's Godfredo Rocendo got a free kick in the 67th minute. A collision led to Agronomía FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gaston Vela hit a great ball. Ciriaco Opilano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amador Oliverios. Agronomía FC's Lino Gaizkine got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hernan Alfonso's late challenge caught a Agronomía FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Alfonso helped the player get up and apologised. Aristides Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Pastor Benvido reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amador Oliverios. The goal made the score 2-3. In the 99th minute of the match, Pastor Benvido tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amador Oliverios saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
