Sportivo Doyle's Timoteo Orlondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Chuse in the 9th minute of play. If Gregorio Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Volcán's Gregorio Rico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timoteo Orlondo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Volcán booed when Sportivo Doyle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Dimas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timoteo Orlondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Chuse's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Gregorio Rico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timoteo Orlondo having to make a save. In the 22nd minute of the match, Cayetano Chuse tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Timoteo Orlondo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Ramiro Dimas fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Doyle's protests and gave Ramiro Dimas a yellow card for diving instead. Ramiro Dimas kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Sportivo Doyle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Madaleno to maneuver through the defense. Timoteo Orlondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Chuse in the 28th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Esteban Madaleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Silvano Grabiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Doyle's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Grabiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Tajo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cayetano Chuse made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Volcán's Cayetano Chuse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timoteo Orlondo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Silvano Grabiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Augusto Tajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Volcán's goalkeeper Augusto Tajo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Doyle's zone, Cayetano Chuse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Orlondo came out of the goal and Cayetano Chuse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gregorio Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Chuse couldn't finish the play. If Gregorio Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Gregorio Rico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Volcán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Volcán had played much better football throughout.
