If Cristo Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lobos AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Abelardo Brais hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Cristo Amor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peñico's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristo Amor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Cordaryal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilano Cloyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Cleto Sustrai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69thth minute of the game Atilano Cloyo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peñico's Tadeo Veto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atilano Cloyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo Brais hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Flavio Edur was slow to take the kick. During this time Peñico's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Peñico booed when Lobos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Sustrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lobos AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
