In the 30th minute of the match Guillermo Shepherd sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Oskitz skillfully saved the ball. Orlando Tirso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Soter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-1 became the score in the 34th minute when Godfredo Stephen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Albinegro FC's Godfredo Stephen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Oskitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Albinegro FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vencedores-Vencidos... had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
