An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Naelio in the 4th minute of play forced Peñico's goalkeeper Tadeo Veto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Benjamin Bastiaro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Peñico's Tadeo Veto. Tadeo Veto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iker Illan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casimiro Gonsalvo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. If Cristo Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Bastiaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tadeo Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match Florentino Peruxu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casimiro Gonsalvo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benjamin Bastiaro struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Tadeo Veto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xeneizes by Sergio. After 37 minutes of play, Xeneizes by Sergio's Benjamin Bastiaro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeo Veto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolando Udalaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Rolando Naelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Peñico got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Gorri. After the first half Xeneizes by Sergio were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Benjamin Bastiaro made the kick off in the second half. If Cristo Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Veto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Bastiaro in the 54th minute of the match. Cristo Amor struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Casimiro Gonsalvo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peñico. After 59 played minutes, Peñico's Flavio Edur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casimiro Gonsalvo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peñico reached it. In the 67th minute Iker Illan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Xeneizes by Sergio's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Illan came free, but Casimiro Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Cristo Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimiro Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Amor in the 79th minute of the match. Rolando Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Veto having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Peñico's zone, Rolando Naelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Veto came out of the goal and Rolando Naelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute Iker Illan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Illan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Veto having to interfere. The Peñico fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Xeneizes by Sergio were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
